open barre: our classic barre class, appropriate for all, for beginners through the advanced student! built on the iconic lotte berke method, open barre fuses yoga, pilates, core conditioning & interval strength training for a total body sculpting workout. no flexibility (or grace!) is required although you may feel you've gained some after class! in this one hour, fat blasting class, we utilize a ballet barre, light hand weights, stretching bands & playground balls, and your own body’s weight as resistance for the isometric movements & dynamic exercises designed to work each muscle group to exhaustion (shaking may occur!). as class flows, we isolate muscle groups working the arms, thighs, glutes and abs and follow each strength segment with a series of yoga stretches designed to create long, lean muscles.
barre burn:our "advanced" level barre class: designed to go deeper into your barre burn! we strongly recommend clients attend at least 10 open level barre classes before joining us at barre burn, to gain more proficiency in the fundamentals of the barre. a faster–paced one–hour class designed to challenge your muscles more deeply by intensifying our basic barre movements with more challenging variations, repetitions and sets. we'll focus on the same muscles, increasing both your strength and flexibility, but challenge you more deeply and speed up the pace throughout each segment!
